Training Manager

Position Overview

The Training Manager will coordinate, deliver, and evaluate technical training activities that enable employees to meet defined performance objectives and support the organization's strategic initiatives. The first priority will be heavily focused on Operational Excellence in our manufacturing facilities.


Primary Responsibilities

• Reviews existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry.

• Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.

• Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.

• Identifies problems and opportunities such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.

• Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.

• Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers

• Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.

• Assessing and reporting the effectiveness of training programs to management

• Maintain updated curriculum database and training records



Education Requirements

  • Preferred- 4 year/ Bachelors Degree

Years Of Experience

  • 6 years

Prior Knowledge/Experience

  • Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills across diverse workforce with the ability to resolve conflict in a professional manner and influence up, down, and across the organization. Technical writing experience is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Ability to moderate large groups. 
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented. 
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices 
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting and manufacturing setting is a plus
