Position Overview

We are currently seeking a:

 

Marketing Manager

(Bagumbayan, Taguig City, Philippines)

 

Reporting directly to the President & General Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible to accelerate the company’s growth and achieve the budget turnover through establishing and executing marketing programs which directly contribute to sales, brand recognition and great customer experiences.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic planning
    • Create an annual marketing plan focusing on Innovations, Health & Well-Being and Sustainability and tailored to each customer channel (industry, foodservice, retail, artisans & distributors).

 

  • Team & budget Management
    • Manage a team of 2 marketeers.
    • Ensure collaboration and alignment with Sales, R&D and HQ teams.
    • Plan and manage Marketing budget based on ROI analysis of all marketing activities.

 

  • Digitalization
    • Champion digitalization focusing on data acquisition and the use of tools such as CRM, Puratos website, MyPuratos webshop, Pitcher, Social Media platforms, …

 

  • Product Management
  • Analyze market and define product strategy per sales channel, incl. SKU portfolio.
  • Build and implement product launch with R&D, Sales & Operation teams.
  • Develop, with Technical Advisors, finished goods concepts adapted for each sales channels.
  • Develop packaging for SKU produced locally.

 

  • Marketing Intelligence
  • Ensure acquisition of data and analytical tools to understand the market, competitors, channels/customers and consumers/shoppers.
  • Generate insights to drive growth.
  • Pro-actively share insights from Taste Tomorrow proprietary consumer survey.
  • Estimate market size and competitor shares for each ingredient category.

 

  • Customer Marketing
  • Understand customer journey to optimize touchpoints and create great experiences.
  • Support sales team with sales collaterals (brochure, give-away, …), in-store activation programs (promotion, POS material, demo), trainings and product information (Pitcher).
  • Organize customer events: seminars, Innovation Days, 1-1 presentations, …
  • Lead Category Management activities with selected customers eg range optimization.

 

  • Communication
  • Create communication strategy to build Puratos awareness, preference and loyalty.
  • Develop and implement the annual communication plan tailor made per channel, including social media, website, PR, advertising, internal / external newsletter, …
  • Manage Puratos Website, webshop and pages on Facebook & Instagram.

 

  • Pricing
  • As member of the pricing committee, define a value-based pricing strategy per ingredient category & sales channel. Justify recommendation based on Market Intelligence data.
  • Provide sales team with tools & rationale for price increases.

 

 

Profile

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Marketing with at least five years’ experience, ideally in food sector.
  • Digital savvy.
  • Entrepreneurial, strategy driven with analytical mindset.
  • Team leader with capacity to influence others.
  • Manages ambiguity well.
  • Business fluent English.
