Area Production Manager

Your Mission

We are currently looking for an Area Production Manager to lead and oversee our manufacturing operations. You will have the opportunity to manage all safety, quality, cost management, planning and continuous improvement initiatives, while playing a crucial role in ensuring seamless interaction with various departments such as maintenance, warehouse, quality, research and development, and business units. As Production Manager, you will not only support the Head of Production, but you will also be a key driver of change, leading the implementation of improvement strategies.

What you will do

• You will implement cost-effective strategies to optimise production processes.
• You will lead and develop a high-performance production team and provide guidance, coaching and support to team members.
• You will work effectively with cross-functional departments to achieve common goals.
• You will maintain close working relationships with maintenance, warehouse, quality, research and development and the business units.
• You will implement a culture of continuous improvement throughout the department.
• You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive positive change.
• You will supervise and manage projects relating to production processes and improvements.
• You will ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a Master's degree
• You have proven experience in a production environment
• You are fluent in English and French.
• You are comfortable using Microsoft Excel (.xls), PowerPoint (.ppt) and ERP systems.
• You are able to lead and inspire teams to achieve common goals.
• You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• You are flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
• You have an analytical mind and data-driven decision-making skills.
• You are able to make decisive and informed decisions.
