Position Overview

Based at Gangnam, Seoul location, in order to strengthen our Finance team we are currently seeking an:

Key Account Manager – Sales

(Gangnam, Seoul)

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager and contributes to the overall success of the organization by supporting in finance operations and reporting. Administer the accounting activities of the company in accordance with Puratos Group, local and fiscal requirements. Guarantee the conformity of the financial accounts of the company. Achieve the minimum level of the operational expenses related to taxes. Help the Finance & Administration Manager in his/her control functions.

Key Accountabilities

Customer Management (60%)

  • Defines and grows the business through effective customer management and account business plans for the responsible customers under the business unit.
  • Identifies, Understands and owns the customer relationship and partnership.
  • Understand customers in their manufacturing operation systems, processes and policies to use their languages for sales discussion.
  • Develops and executes joint business plans with customers
  • Communicates and consistently monitors progress of the execution of the key account   strategies amongst trade customers with internal and external stakeholders.
  • The role leads in delivering profitable growth for Puratos and customers.

 

SALES Planning, Execution & Project Management (20%)

  • Set up account goal planning & customer business planning
  • Clearly establishes: “where to win” and “how to playcustomer & trade programs that deliver the outcomes required with clear sales and financial deliverables.
  • Product / SKU planning and forecasting
  • Delivers the agreed large account strategies for customers.
  • Oversees the delivery of the responsible account sales goals through well-defined Key Performance Indicators (Unicode).
  • Compliance to trading terms & conditions
  • Leading the joint business planning process with the customer
  • Lead project process and utilize Sales channel portal as key instrument of sales process
  • Execute business reviews (internal and external) as planned

 

Develop new business opportunities (20%)

  • Define business opportunities via understanding of market/competitive landscape
  • Identify, act on and materialize market opportunities based on new business assignments from market analysis as well as development execution plan
  • Lead and drive new business assignments by well-organized collaboration and communication with other functions to make more productive and better result.

 

 

COMPETENCIES / PROFILE

  • Over 8 years of solid experience in Food industry.
  • Preferred Food major in University
  • Large account background (food ingredient), experience in sales and/or marketing.
  • Proficient level of the English language must be mandatory.
  • A good personality and attitude: open-minded, honest, diplomat, precise, team player.
  • Coordination skills with outcome oriented.
  • Have high sensitivity on the business opportunity and passion to make it happen.
  • Strong communication skills.  Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good capacity of analysis and synthesis.
  • Capacity to define and articulate a market and a pricing strategy.
  • Sales negotiation skills with industry key accounts.
  • Capability to build network of relationships in the industry; ability to be perceived as the subject matter expert.
  • Basic knowledge of sales budgeting process, marketing techniques, production and distribution processes.
  • Deep knowledge and exposure to sales and marketing
  • Proficient in MS Office based applications
