Position Overview

Based at our Puratos Korea Office, in order to further strengthen our Marketing team we are currently seeking an:

Product Manager / 과장 (Korean Only)

Reporting to Senior product manager (Patisserie & Chocolate) in Puratos Korea. This position is mainly to support Sr Product Manager in developing and executing local marketing activities by adopting global activities based on local consumer insight/data analytics. And this position is closely working with global marketing team, external marketing agencies and local relevant functions (Business Development team). On the other hand, will serve marketing activity execution as Product Manager in the team.

 

Key Accountabilities

  1. Assist SBU’s Marketing Planning and Execution (60%)
  • Support to develop annual marketing strategy and plan for Patisserie and Chocolate in accordance to company objective
  • Deal with marketing execution details in customer seminar and new product launch
  • Lead and manage Puratos Korea digital activation including social media (Instagram & Facebook), website and Belcolade club via monthly planning in line with marketing strategy and market trend
  • Suggest insight-driven marketing ideas, concepts and innovations across all aspects of marketing mix
  • Proactively involve into regular data tracking (sales, stock, research...)
  1. Full responsibility for small sized BU (30%)
  • Category of BU: Cream Fillings + Decors in Patisserie (TBD)
  • Accountable for sales growth and product margin
  • Portfolio Management: Develops optimal product, price and channel portfolio to meet consumer segmentation needs considering profit
  • Pricing: Recommending pricing strategy that is customer appealing, competitive and profitable
  • Communications: Responsible to develop marketing communications plans which include 1 to 1 communication, digital communications, on ground event (seminar, product demonstration), PR to support the launch of the new product to support the sales team
  1. Support SBU Bakery for customer seminars and samplings (10%)

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Marketing (preferred) but not mandatory
  • Min 5 years to Max 10 years of B2C or B2B marketing(preferred) (incl. customer marketing) in global Food category
  • Excellent English and Korean communication/presentation skill
  • Excellent analytical skills and data -driven approach
  • Digital/Social marketing experience is preferred
