Position Overview:
Through proactive analyses of the business financials and comprehensive reports, the Operations Controller, as part of the local Management Teams, will play a key role in the sites’ objective of supporting Puratos’ business development in a sustainable and profitable way. (S)He will ensure the timely and accurate reporting of the actual performances of the sites and will lead the Forecast and the Budget processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Plan maintenance work orders by a combination of field work and utilization of existing task lists
- Work with part’s coordinator to ensure parts for critical equipment are attached to functional locations/equipment as part of BOMs
- Adjust work order plans by incorporating feedback from mechanics in the field
- Build standard task lists for repetitive jobs
- Execute weekly scheduling process by developing resource and materials feasible schedules based on inputs from stakeholders
- Review work orders to determine if work order is acceptable
- Perform field planning
- Identify job steps & sequences
- Acts as the focal point for Material/Tool/Equipment issues during execution for jobs planned
- Responsible for updating Task lists in SAP
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) plans for existing and new equipment. Follow-up on the execution of the PM plan and make corrections to the PM plan as needed. Review and update on a regularly basis the PM plan.
Qualifications:
- Education experience
- Minimum - High School or GED
- Prior Knowledge/Experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude is required
- High degree of proficiency with SAP Plant Maintenance Module
- High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel
