Position Overview

In order to further strengthen our Operations team in Bulgaria we are currently looking for a:

Supply Chain Manager

(Pernik, Bulgaria)

Key Accountabilities

• Organize, manage, plan and control the activity of supplies of goods, materials and services by type and quantity
• Monitor the terms of delivery of the necessary goods and materials
• Conduct negotiations with suppliers related to prices, deferred payment and terms of delivery
• Take measures for timely submission of complaints on the delivered raw materials and materials that do not meet the quality standards and norms
• Place orders with suppliers
• Send the required forecasts to internal and external suppliers
• Monitor, analyze and optimize warehouse stocks, interacting with other departments
• Accept the orders of the counterparties from the Puratos Group and pass them on to the Head of Production and Quality Control
• Lead the correspondence with the counterparties of the Puratos Group and to send an update of the prices for each quarter, after prior agreement with the Financial Manager and the Executive Director of the company
• Resolve cases arising in the process of transporting the goods
• Prepare the reports necessary for the department's activity
• Participate in the achievement of the goals set by the Group
• Submit proposals for optimizing the activity related to the company's supplies and logistics
• Provide support to colleagues and distributors in Macedonia regarding orders, product information, customs tariffing and logistics services, interacting with other departments
• Be responsible for compliance with the deadlines for delivery of the necessary goods and materials

Required Competencies

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing/planning/supply chain
• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in Bulgarian and at least advanced in English
• Knowledge of ERP software (SAP would be preferred)
• Able to work without direct supervision
• Good organizational and communication skills
