Sales Manager

Puratos is looking for a National Sales Manager who will ensure company’s growth in terms of sales, profits & customers in All channels through (1) developing a strategy and sales plan in line with the Group’s guidelines, (2) actively promoting the Group’s product lines, and (3) managing a motivated and dynamic team.


Key Accountabilities:



  • As a member of the management team, contribute actively to the Bulgaria overall objectives
  • Develop, plan and lead the execution of short, medium & long term plans for the Industry/Key Accounts, in line with the Group’s strategy, in order to achieve the following targets: volume/sales/net profits/market share/expenses
  • With the Marketing Manager: (1) develop marketing activities and plans to support the sales program, (2) monitor and review customer satisfaction,(3) maintain awareness and get continuous updated information in areas such as market conditions, competitive activities, customer’s product and service needs


Sales Management:

  • Ensure fully effective sales system including: (1) market segmentation, (2) allocation of customers to sales people on most efficient/effective basis, (3) clear & complete customer records (computerized).
  • Build, manage, inspire, help motivate & develop your team: (1) recruitment of talented and motivated staff when needed, (2) coaching, training, monitoring of results, (3) management by clear objectives, (4) cooperation with other departments, (5) management and use of information + organization of meetings, etc.
  • Visit all key customers


Other tasks:

  • Be active in multi-country teams in order to (1) exchange information about best practices + help drive international projects & (2) be aware of available resources at Group level.
  • Coordinate and ensure fast, efficient and effective exchanges with headquarters and other companies of the Group in order to ease decision making.
  • Build effective relationships with key industry people: key customers, trade organizations, trade press, etc.


Required Competencies:

  • University degree
  • Vast experience in leading of teams
  • Commercial B2C or B2B experience
  • Understanding the vision of the overall sales organization and having the ability to make changes
  • Passion for food products
  • Fluent in English and Bulgarian
  • Great communication skills
  • Driving’s licence since 30% to 40% of traveling is expected for this role
