Position Overview:
The Commercialization Project Manager leads end-to-end business projects and initiatives. This role is key for the realization of Puratos US Strategy, especially for the implementation of Innovative and Differentiated solutions, the delivery of Supply Chain reliability and Manufacturing excellence, and the expansion of our customer base in all channels. This individual partners with all the departments involved (such as but not limited to sales, marketing, R&D, item control, supply chain, procurement, manufacturing and finance) to facilitate a successful execution and integration for new projects in order to deliver high-speed-to-market, high service levels and low costs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversees and manages successful delivery of the pipeline of commercialization projects, facilitating resource allocation decisions and addressing issues
- Collaborates closely with the supply chain and manufacturing teams in order to ensure efficient commercial launches, leading the forecasting process of new products, ensuring that inventory policy is defined, identifying potential procurement gaps (unique raw material, long lead-time…).
- Acts as the internal consultant to the organization on other commercialization projects
- Proactively identifies and resolves internal and external hurdles through effective communication with the different stakeholders involved. These hurdles can be related to project briefing accuracy, supply chain challenges, timing constraints, customers limitations, technological capabilities, manufacturing capacities, etc.
- Adheres to appropriate project standards, trains cross-functional teams in the standards and supports them across the organization
- Utilizes and assists in rolling out project management templates, action plans and reporting
- Improves Project Management process by promoting the use of digital technology as well as identifying more efficient and effective processes
- There may be other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education experience
- Minimum - 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
- Work experience
- Minimum – 5+ years’ of work experience in a combination of project management, planning, manufacturing, customer service and/or sales
- Prior Knowledge/Experience
- PMI (Project Management Institute), PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent verifiable coursework required
- Experience in a cross-functional business team environment
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Project, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work both collaboratively as a team, across various functions and works independently in an ambiguous, constantly-changing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability and willingness to regularly travel to visit customer and Puratos US locations.
