Position Overview



Sales Analyst

(Mumbai, India)


The sales operations is a crucial function within the sales department reporting to sales management:

  • Helps increase the performance of the sales teams through the implementation of sales processes and business intelligence (data collection, analysis, systems and target setting)
  • guides the commercial organization through the digital transformation






The National Key Account Manager is responsible for the definition and implementation of the strategy for the large account channels. He/She will manage all sales activities related to the large account channels in order develop sales. The sales approach is direct to ISB/commissary as well as in a triangular approach - to reach the profitability objectives. The large account channels consists of Supermarket, Industry, and QSR (Quick Service Restaurants)


Key Accountabilities


  • Customer mapping – lead generation:
      • Lead the customer mapping projects
      • Own the customer database and keeps it up to date (CRM)
      • Gather selling out data and integrate them within our database
      • Initiate and implement quantitative and qualitative customer segmentation


  • Lead for sales processes including CRM – SFA :
      • Full understanding of Puratos Sales processes (Artisan and Large Accounts), being able to adapt them to the country reality and implement them in collaboration with Sales management
      • Be the project leader for the implementation of the new CRM-SFA eco-system
      • Manage Tool administration
      • Ensure integration of and with tools and systems
      • Training


  • Lead for (Sales) Business Intelligence
      • Help implementing and be the key user of our BI tools within the sales team (cfr. new Power BI tool)
      • Develop new KPI’s, dashboards and reports for the business development teams that generate insights to improve their efficiency and effectiveness (align where needed with group reporting and use existing best practices)
      • Train the sales teams on the usage of reports, dashboards (e.g. KDI) and power BI
      • Supports sales management in monitoring and optimizing the business


  • Digital lead from the sales side :
      • Help the organisation to adopt tools in the digital space and be the ambassador for digital adoption
      • Training and change management of digital tools to enable adoption and usage by the business development teams
      • Stay up to date with all (digital) evolutions
      • Initiate and implement specific AI projects


  • Facilitate Collaboration:
      • Coordinate between BU’s/Channels/workstreams to ensure alignment and eliminate overlap
      • Work with sales and marketing to advise and assist in targeting and campaign execution
      • Collaborate, develop, and share best practices with HQ


  • Organizational relationship


  • Reporting line to Sales management
  • Be the facilitator of the sales teams and even broader of all business development teams in a country (sales, marketing, Technical support, R&D, customer service)
  • Active participation in Continuous Improvement projects



  • Stays close to the customer reality (direct and indirect) going regularly in the field and responds to opportunities in a changing market environment.



  • Any graduate with 4-8 years’ experience in sales operations
  • Very strong analytical skills and a passion for numbers
  • Passion for digital in a fast-changing world with at least some affinity with the technical aspects
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong drive to make things happen
  • A passion for customers and business in general
  • Fluent in English, other languages are an asset


Technical Skills

  • Experience with sales processes, digital tools and data management is an asset
  • Feels at ease with tools and systems, but also understands the processes behind
  • Is familiar with CRM systems, marketing related tools (e.g. marketing automation, …)
