Finance Business Partner – Digital and Automation Focus

Your Mission

As a Finance Business Partner for our site in Lummen, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth by combining financial expertise with digital transformation. This position bridges finance and operations, ensuring strategic decisions are backed by data and technology. You will lead initiatives that optimize processes, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable value through automation and digitalization

What will you do? 

• Act as a trusted financial advisor to the Site Management Team, providing proactive analysis and insights to support strategic decisions.
• Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes in collaboration with site and corporate teams.
• Analyze and monitor financial performance, including production margins, expenses, and capex, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Drive digital transformation and automation projects, ensuring financial alignment and measurable benefits.
• Develop and implement KPIs for digital initiatives, promoting data-driven decision-making and efficiency improvements.
• Support continuous improvement programs and working capital optimization to enhance profitability and cash flow.
• Evaluate and monitor business cases for capex projects and new product developments, ensuring value creation

Who are we looking for? 

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance within a manufacturing environment (previous audit experience is a plus but not the main focus).
• Strong knowledge of SAP and management accounting principles; experience with cost accounting is highly desirable.
• Fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written).
• Proven interest and experience in digital transformation and automation tools (Copilot & Power Automate, Power BI is a plus).
• Excellent analytical skills, business acumen, and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; a team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
