Position Overview

Based at BanoPuratos in Kuwait, we are currently seeking a:

Assistant Warehouse Supervisor

(Kuwait)

Assist the Warehouse Supervisor in overseeing and monitoring warehouse activities related to receiving, stocking, order processing, and general warehouse work; along with delivery of machinery.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations and administration of warehouse to ensure optimal and timely service
• Coordinate warehouse work schedules and divide orders among helpers based on deliveries geographical locations and as per the Warehouse Supervisor’s directions
• Enforce operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory.
• Receive and inspect condition of items, sort and verify merchandises against order documentation, and inform the Warehouse Supervisor about inaccuracy or damaged merchandises
• Coordinate the staging and packing of merchandises, ensure that the loaded merchandises are of the correct quantity and in useable condition, and the truck is loaded to maximize weight and prevent damage to contents
• Assist in coordinating product movement, inventory counts, and items rotation, including to and from offsite warehousing
• Ensure that all stock is handled in a way as to minimize the risk of damage while in stock or during delivery.

Profile

• High school diploma.
• 3 to 5 years of warehouse management experience
• Fluent in, Arabic, and English languages.
• Ability to receive, store, and ship materials to and from stock by incorporating warehousing activities
• Knowledge of management processes such as inbound processes, outbound processes and value-added services
• Ability to apply cross-dock technique when bringing items into the stock for immediate dispatch
• Ability to develop solutions to resolve non-conformance incidents such as damages and inventory discrepancies
• Should be multitasking oriented.
• Should have good commination skills.
• Should have good attention to details.
