Technical Advisor Bakery – Conseiller Technique Boulangerie - Démonstrateur Boulangerie
Your Mission
As International Technical Advisor Bakery, you bring advanced artisan bakery expertise to life through recipe development, training, demonstrations, and customer inspiration.
You combine deep knowledge of French-European bread culture and sourdough with a customer-oriented and commercially aware mindset to support demanding artisan customers and bakery chains.
By translating bakery heritage, trends, and technical know-how into relevant solutions, you help create inspiring finished goods and strengthen Puratos’ credibility in the bakery world.
In this role, you act as a technical expert and ambassador, supporting both customers and internal stakeholders through expertise, collaboration, and high-quality execution.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and refine artisan bread and sourdough applications with a strong focus on French bread culture, advanced finished goods, and high-level craftsmanship.
- Deliver technical demonstrations, training sessions, and inspiring presentations for advanced artisans, bakery chains, schools, and other professional audiences.
- Support customers and internal teams by translating market trends, customer needs, and bakery expertise into practical technical solutions and relevant product recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D to support business development, product promotion, events, and new product-related activities.
- Participate in seminars, fairs, conferences, and customer visits, acting as an ambassador for artisan bakery expertise and Puratos solutions.
- Share recipes, technical insights, and best practices in a structured way, while contributing to quality standards and continuous improvement in technical support activities.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders by combining technical credibility, clear communication, and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
Who are we looking for?
- You preferably hold a Brevet de Maîtrise de Boulangerie, unless you offer exceptional equivalent experience that demonstrates the same level of mastery.
- You have proven experience in recipe development, technical training, demonstrations, and working with demanding artisan bakery customers or similar expert audiences.
- You combine strong technical craftsmanship with a customer-focused, hands-on, and commercially aware mindset.
- You communicate confidently, present ideas clearly, and collaborate constructively with different internal and external stakeholders.
- You are fluent in English and comfortable working across teams and audiences using the most appropriate communication channels and tools.
- You have a clear passion for bakery heritage and trends, and you are motivated by using your expertise in a broader role that includes inspiration, training, promotion, and ambassadorial impact.
- You are willing to travel globally (around 10 to 15%).
