Subsidies & Grants Manager
Are grants and subsidies at the heart of your expertise and do you have the experience and the ambition to drive to the next level the way we manage grants and subsidies across 85 countries around the world?
You will be part of our Global Legal and Tax team based in our HQ in Belgium (Groot-Bijgaarden, close to Brussels).
You will report to the General Counsel of the group.
The main mission of this role is to:
Play a key role in the promotion of the grants and subsidies function in the group and manage all grants and subsidies matters across the group.
Key Accountabilities
In this role, in close working relationship with colleagues across the organization, you will :
- Develop, roll-out and promote group-wide grants and subsidies programs, policies and best practices
- (Create grants and subsidies awareness to) improve business opportunities through effective funding programs
- Identify new sources of grants and subsidies, identify support agencies
- Ensure that grants and subsidies programs operate efficiently
- Manage the roll-out and use of digital tools to ensure efficient grants and subsidies reporting processes
- Streamline grants and subsidies administration
- Monitor overall grant application efforts
- Track and report back on results
- Supervise grants and subsidies compliance activities
Who are we looking for?
- Academic degree: Bachelor or Master degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience,
- Project management experience,
- Methodical and strategic thinking,
- Excellent organizational skills,
- Fluency in English both orally and in writing. French, Dutch, Spanish is a plus,
- A self-starter with drive, high level of autonomy and ownership,
- Ability to think out of the box,
- Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously,
- Able to work efficiently in a multi-cultural environment with cross-functional teams .
