Regulatory Expert
Are you passionate about ensuring innovative solutions reach the market? Puratos, a global leader in bakery, patisserie, and chocolate, is looking for a Group Regulatory Affairs Expert to join our dynamic Regulatory team at our headquarters in Belgium.
Key Accountabilities
As a key player in our team, you will drive the implementation of Puratos Group's regulatory strategy worldwide by securing ingredient approvals. You'll work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, ensuring our products meet global standards.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers for ingredients, in compliance to all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
- Assist in implementing regulatory strategies to secure timely global ingredient approvals.
- Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory authorities, and external partners to ensure clarity on regulatory requirements and timelines.
- Maintain global consistency in dossier strategy and business processes, while safeguarding intellectual property, IP.
- Manage communications with regulatory authorities regarding submissions delivery and formatting.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise the organization on necessary actions.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive regulatory documentation and records.
Who are we looking for?
- Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or Biochemistry.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulatory role within the food or pharmaceutical industry, in regions such as the EU, UK, LATAM, US, or APAC.
- Proficient in regulatory dossier submissions for ingredient approvals (e.g., novel food, food additives).
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze complex information.
- Independent worker with strong team collaboration skills.
- Ambitious, delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
- Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to engage with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a plus.
