Infrastructure Specialist

Key Accountabilities:

The regional infrastructure team is responsible for the general ICT wellbeing and business continuity for all sites in the region (Belgium + North and Eastern Europe)

The team consists of 12 specialists and serving more than 50 sites in 18 countries.

  • This role has exposure to a wide variety of technologies (network, endpoint, server, cloud, etc.)
  • You will work closely with colleagues from all aspects of our business, from operations to management
  • In this second line role you will support our first line teams as well as handling a variety of on-site and hands-on IT tasks in the different sites across the region including:
    • Collaborating with key stakeholders in the business on supporting the rapidly growing business environment
    • Installing & maintaining network, server and storage infrastructure
    • Deploying endpoints such as laptops and warehouse equipment, resolving complex issues escalated by 1st line
  • You will also lead a variety of ICT Infrastructure projects such as deployment of our standardized solutions to new or expanding sites
  • You are supported by a team of 3rd line specialists and architects with deep understanding of their particular technologies


Who are we looking for?

  • You have minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT support
  • You are passionate about IT and technology in general
  • You have great interpersonal skills and enjoy helping others
  • You have a broad knowledge of corporate IT solutions
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and/or French
  • You enjoy travelling and are willing to do so approximately 20% of your time
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following solutions is considered an advantage but not a requirement
    • Windows server & endpoint
    • Microsoft M365
    • Exchange Online
    • Intune
    • AD & Azure AD
    • Cisco
    • HP servers & storage solutions (including Nimble & Simplivity)
    • Palo-Alto
    • VMware
    • VEEAM backup
    • Crowdstrike EDR
    • Rapid7 XDR
