Second Line Infrastructure Specialist

The regional SECOND LINE ICT Infrastructure Support specialist is responsible for the general ICT wellbeing and business continuity for all sites in the region ( Belgium + North and Eastern Europe)

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Ensure a secured environment is maintained for all sites within the region AS SECOND LINE SPECIALIST
  • Be the first point of contact for the country management teams offering support and training for local and group standard ICT solutions
  • Manage ICT assets in the region, plan and execute migrations for end-of-life systems
  • Monitor wide area network connectivity and performance in the region, coordinate with service providers and HQ and local teams to resolve issues.
  • Oversee daily operations by local ICT staff e.g. backups, monitoring of systems and local network
  • Manage hardware and software upgrade projects
  • Ensure the local network and systems are robust and reliable
  • Define the budgetary requirements for the coming replacement and upgrades of existing and new ICT systems
  • Coordinate and supervise the regional Active Directory and other security systems
  • Work with end users to identify issues and deliver required PC service levels and standards.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and staff on computer operation and other IT-related issues.
  • Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex PC problems for a variety of end users, and recommend and implement corrective hardware solutions, including off-site repair as needed.
  • Install or move servers, computers and printers and other IT equipment  
  • Problem and Incident management using a ticketing system

 

Who are we looking for?
 

  • You have 3 years OR relevant experience in PC support
  • You are service oriented and determined to give the best solution to our clients
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
  • You are willing to travel (20% on yearly basis)
