Product Manager – Sourdough

As our global Product Manager Sourdough, you will actively participate to the creation and global implementation of the business unit strategy. You will be responsible for O-tentic, one of the leading innovations within the group. You will work side by side with your R&D counterparts, the market teams and the technical advisor community. You will be responsible for the product strategy and portfolio, with a strong focus on innovation.

What you will do

• You collect, analyse and build market intelligence from a wide range of data sources and
• identify possible impacts on the business.
• You build and implement the product strategy aligned with Markets/ Channels/ Operations, in order to determine optimal competitive positioning to reach short and long term business objectives.
• You manage the product portfolio (profitability optimization, pricing, SKU management, benchmarking) and all element of the marketing mix (branding, pricing, route to market, promotions, …).
• You monitor the sales performance of the category in terms of volume, sales, margin evolution, customer penetration, …
• You actively support business development (markets, channels, customers) by customers visits, customer presentations, training, exchange of best practices.
• You develop product communication and sales support tools in line with the Group communication strategy.
• You build strong relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to share the product vision and create involvement at different organizational levels.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a Business or Marketing degree with at least 3-5 years of experience. Experience in an international B2C environment is a plus.
• You have a passion for food and you are keen to understand the technical challenges and opportunities. Therefore ready to have a common language with R&D and technical advisors.
• You are curious, data driven, digital savvy and inspired by the understanding of local consumer culture’s diversity in food.
• You are determined to continuously improve everything we do, daring to challenge boundaries to deliver superior value in products & services, and meaningful innovations.
• You are a dynamic, proactive and creative team player. A positive attitude is a must.
• You are excellent in English (written & spoken). Other languages are a plus.
• You are willing to travel 25% of your time.
