Procurement Buyer – Indirect Purchasing

Your Mission

As the driver behind our digital procurement evolution, you lead the charge in introducing innovative catalog buying and digital processes across diverse indirect purchasing categories. From strategic supplier selection and negotiations to defining best practices and managing the Indirect Purchasing Dashboard, your impact is central to elevating our procurement practices.

What you will do?

• You are responsible for the transfer to digital procurement for indirect Purchasing categories by introducing catalogue buying and installation of the digital processes to support this transfer
• You analyze the spend within your categories, select suppliers that provide catalogues or repetitive services and you negotiate the best conditions and realize savings. You review contract proposals in collaboration with the legal department, you follow up on the service of these suppliers and renegotiate/change supplier if required
• You define best practices, training material, contract templates, purchasing processes and take care that the internal customers are trained and supported, you work on process improvement in collaboration with IT and other related departments
• You are responsible for the professional procurement of different indirect Purchasing categories that fall under this digital procurement suite (Office supplies, Production supplies, Marketing supplies, recruitment services,….)  and contribute in defining best practices and procedures, RFPs & negotiation in alignment with internal stakeholders and in accordance with the defined Group Strategy and project priority list
• You are responsible for the Indirect Purchasing Dashboard providing Spend Data, Process KPIs, ….

Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• You have minimum 5 years of experience in a purchasing role
• You dare to question processes and are willing to think along with optimizations
• You are analytical and process minded
• You are dynamic, very customer-oriented, proactive, well-organized, know how to set the right priorities and take initiative
• You are a team player and have a positive attitude
• You are Dutch and/or French speaking with a good knowledge of English
• You have a good knowledge of SAP and a very good knowledge of MS Office
