R&D Process and Product Improvement Manager UHT (Plant-Based solutions)

Your Mission

Your mission will be to support the growth of the UHT-category within our Plant-Based solutions range. You will be able to implement the strategy & priorities for R&D support on process & product improvement in the producing facilities worldwide and you will globally implement UHT-technology through standardization, continuous expertise building and sharing on UHT processing and equipment’s, supporting start-up & improvement of UHT production lines.

What you will do?

• You collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate UHT process performance, ensuring the highest product quality standards.
• You lead UHT-specific quality initiatives, implementing standardized processes, and optimizing production lines.
• You drive capex planning, validate suppliers, and spearhead the implementation of strategic UHT technology and equipment.
• You execute UHT-specific strategies for Process & Product Improvement projects, fostering expertise and staying abreast of cutting-edge UHT technologies.
• You provide robust customer and market support, contributing to UHT product development and driving business growth.
• You spearhead the implementation of advanced AI/data tools to continuously monitor and optimize UHT processes.
• You foster a culture of excellence, emphasizing "do it right the first time," customer-centricity, and continuous improvement in UHT operations.
• You act as the point of contact to support UHT Operations/Quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless UHT processes.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a master degree in bio-engineering, food technology or you have a similar background
• You have a solid experience of at least 5 years in the food industry as R&D process manager/ food technologist 
• You are a strong communicator and you love to network in an international context
• Your approach to leadership is one of collaboration and open communication
• You are able to work in a matrix organization and to create impact in a non-hierarchical setting
• You have a passion for food and a hands-on mentality
• You are fluent in English. Dutch and/or French are a plus
• You are willing to travel approx. 20%
