Reliability Engineer

Your Mission

Your main objective is to increase uptime by enhancing the reliability of utilities equipment. This involves improving the performance of various installations such as boilers, cogeneration systems, heat pumps, chillers, ammonia compressors, water treatment, and waste water treatment.

Your responsibilities also include managing the asset portfolio of utilities and providing data and timelines to define capital expenditure (capex) replacement needs. Additionally, the role involves offering support to Maintenance Technicians for complex repairs and leading small improvement projects.

Furthermore, you will be in charge of developing and overseeing the mid-to-long-term maintenance plan for the utilities.

What you will do

• You will be responsible for the design of maintenance plans (including fixing issues, regular checks, and condition-based actions) for each piece of equipment.
• We trust on you to craft standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your preventive maintenance routines.
• We count on you to take charge of the assets in your part of the utilities, sharing data and timelines to plan for equipment replacements.
• You will also put your preventive maintenance tasks and equipment into SAP.
• You organize and prepare the big overhauls.
• Technicians can count on you for technical support during your preventive maintenance work.
• You will work closely with the Process Improvement Engineers to troubleshoot recurring OEE problems.
• You will turn legal requirements (like EU regulations, BRC, FDA, Halal, Kosher, Vegan, etc.) into practical maintenance actions or SOPs.
• You will coordinate your approach with other maintenance engineers.

What we expect from you

• You have a master's degree in technical engineering or showcase an equivalent level of expertise.
• You embark on a journey with your first experience in a factory setting, bringing your hands-on approach to the forefront.
• You illuminate your path with high analytical skills, where statistical prowess is an additional asset.
• You radiate good communication skills that foster collaboration and understanding.
• You flourish in adaptability within a complex environment, demonstrating your resilience and versatility.
• You are fluent in English and have a good knowledge in either French OR Dutch, with a basic understanding of the other.
