Key Accountabilities

As our Application Specialist Patisserie, you will play an important role in supporting our customers — with a focus on the industrial segment for the Belgian market— by delivering cutting-edge concepts and hands-on solutions that elevate their products and production lines. You will be the trusted expert, helping customers solve challenges and finding new opportunities for growth.

What You’ll Do

• Inspire Growth:

Work closely with sales to uncover exciting new business opportunities and help customers grow with our innovative product range. You will give internal and external presentations and seminars explaining the benefits of our products. You will also participate in strategic exercises intending to develop our business.

•        Implementation of new products and concepts on Industrial lines:
Lead the implementation of new patisserie products and concepts, collaborating from early development to full industrial rollout.

•        Be the Problem Solver:
Provide expert troubleshooting at customer sites to ensure smooth production and customer satisfaction, this at existing business or to develop new business opportunities.

•        Manage accurately documentation:
Build an accessible project and recipe documentation by using our different templates and procedures. Keep all technical info organized and accessible, supporting smooth project workflows in CRM.

•        Build Expertise & Relationships:

Become a go-to expert in patisserie technologies, growing your network with customers, suppliers, internal teams and the international Puratos R&D community.

•        Prioritize Safety & Quality:

Keep food safety and workplace safety front and center every day.

Who are we looking for?

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or a related field, or you can show an equivalent relevant experience.
• You have 1–5 years of experience in patisserie or similar position. Knowledge of industrial processes are a plus.
• You’re fluent in Dutch with good knowledge in French and English
• You are digital savvy, meaning you are comfortable with common office software — SAP knowledge is a plus!
• You’re a creative thinker and hands-on problem solver who thrives in an industrial environment.
• You communicate clearly, inspire confidence, and enjoy working with customers and colleagues alike.
• You are a team player and thrives in a collaborative environment
• You’re proactive, adaptive, trustworthy, passionate about continuous improvement, and eager to make a real impact.
• Mobility within Belgium is no problem for you.
