Customer Service Employee

For our site in Groot Bijgaarden or Erembodegem we are looking for a new colleague to reinforce our customer service department.
As a customer service employee you will be the first and main point of contact for all customers, providing them all the information related to their orders. You will ensure a correct order input and follow-up and provide a reliable and high-level service.


Key Accountabilities:


As a Customer Service Employee you will be in charge of following tasks:.

  • Give full support to the customers questions (quality related questions, stock info, regulations and standards,..) in interaction with several internal departments (marketing, warehouse, production, commercial team,..)
  • Follow up of customer information requests (master data creation and management, complaint handling and feedback root cause, provide solutions,..) in line with the company policy and procedures
  • Order management in general: order entry and follow up in SAP system or manual
  • You serve as the SPOC between internal departments and the customers for all relevant communications. Examples (not exhaustive): product information, new launches, Technical Data Sheets and updates thereof, promotional material, questionnaires, etc.
  • You listen to customers and collect any remarks and information that can be used to improve Puratos’ service.  You communicate the information to the relevant departments (Shipping teams, Marketing, R&D, Distribution & Warehousing, etc.)
  • You support commercial activities (reducing total Rush Orders and related express costs, samples management,..) and you collect and communicate sales information that can be used as input to Sales Forecast


Who are we looking for?

  • You have a bachelor degree with by preference a first experience in an international customer service department
  • You are service minded and accurate with an eye for detail
  • You are proactive and communicative with colleagues over different departments and with external stakeholders
  • You have by preference a first experience in an order handling or ERP system
  • You are fluent in English (speaking and writing) with a good knowledge in Dutch (by preference) or French
