BakerOnline Start Up Manager

As BakerOnline Start-up Development Manager, you contribute to the expansion and acceleration of our disruptive service to support professionals in our industry in their digital transformation.

By scaling BakerOnline, we make more H&WB solutions accessible to more people, we help reduce waste instore, and we help bakers to organize better production. You will join the BakerOnline team that is part of Sparkalis – the venture capital fund of Puratos.

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

  • You explore and scale together with the BakerOnline CEO the new business model to increase exponentially the number of customers using BOL
  • You promote, advocate and execute the business plan globally
  • You coordinate the development of BakerOnline with close follow-up of the sales results
  • You collaborate closely with countries to accelerate customer acquisition
  • You work closely with Sales/Channel team to implement the business plan
  • You work closely with New Revenues team to define future options
  • You leverage resources in the organization and create top-of-mind enthusiasm for the service across the organization to support the business growth
  • You understand the market in order to provide targeted customer solutions
  • You animate the internal and external communication to increase awareness of BOL
  • You analyze and explore the sales data
  • You look for synergies with Rapidle

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a bachelor/master degree with min 5 years’ experience, of which at least a first experience in business development.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit with focus on delivery and results.
  • You have good marketing knowledge (theoretical & practical): market research, product positioning, launches, communication especially storytelling, social media.
  • You are an excellent communicator with the ability to influence the team & organization to achieve results in a true team spirit and establish strong international partnerships.
  • You have strong leadership skills : Able to influence and align internally at different hierarchical levels/functions
  • You are digital savvy, you have an analytical & problem-solving mindset.
  • You have developed good sales and negotiation skills. Project management & planning is a plus.
  • You are proficient with MS Office, in particular excel and PPT.  Creative design and video creation  is a plus.
  • You are fluent in English. French, Spanish, Dutch and any other language is a plus.
  • This position will be required to travel up to 30% of the time. Work location: Groot-Bijgaarden (Belgium).
