Position Overview

In order to further strengthen our team in Switzerland we are currently looking for a:

Finance Manager (60% to 80%)

(Dulliken, Switzerland)

 

Key Accountabilities

Finance management

  • Organize and manage the accounting and data processing functions for reliable, timely administration and reporting in alignment with statutory, fiscal and group operational requirements. 
  • Ensure the implementation and respect of internal procedures in order to guarantee the safeguarding and optimal use of the assets of the company. This includes strict debtor management, stock control, cash management, trade creditors, control of fixed assets, application of Group and local generally accepted accounting principles, analysis of investments in accordance with Group principles. 
  • Assist and advise the General Manager in various financial and business related matters and support the decision-making process with relevant data. 
  • Help understand and control the financial results and identify weaknesses and opportunities.
  • Analysis of production margins, expenses, capex, productivity; investigate and understand/explain variances vs budget and prior year
  • Effectively communicate financial goals/targets and ensure accountability is assigned to the appropriate functional leader, work closely with management team in setting cost control and reduction strategies. 
  • Actively coordinate the long-range plan, annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, with various stakeholders, consolidate and analyze budgets, prepare management reports and presentations. 
  • Manage financing requirements and optimize cash management in coordination with the Group treasury function. 
  • Regular reporting of the financial results, in line with the Group Reporting calendar.
  • Follow up on the company internal and external audit reports and fiscal reports.
  • Reinforce the effective use of ERP systems with internal business partners.  
  • Coordinate the work of the Pricing Committee and actively influence the pricing strategies of the company. 
  • Support business development programs.
  • Develop, drive and/or follow up working capital management initiatives.
  • Work closely with other departmental managers to ensure financial strategies are aligned with the business objectives. 
  • Co-proxy rights and obligations of the company signing and approving the contracts and payments in the company.
  • Manage insurance topics in accordance with Group Insurance Policy.
  • Manage fiscal and legal topics with external partners.

Capital assets management   

  • Organize and manage the accounting and data processing functions for reliable, timely administration and reporting in alignment with statutory, fiscal and group operational requirements. 
  • Assist in decisions of new Capital assets investments (pre/post evaluation).

Team development and change management

  • Manage and lead the team, facilitate team processes and appreciate the big picture. 
  • Inspire and develop existing talent on the team, identify team strengths and opportunities, and help the team make the connection between their contributions and business success. 
  • Act as role model to encourage team and stakeholders to see things differently and embrace change. 
  • Cross-train staff in all vital functions in case of absence to ensure no disruption of daily activities.  

 

Required Competencies

  • Master’s degree in finance and/or Controlling, Economics, Business.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a in a multi-national context, preferably FMCG in a role of Business Controlling and/or Finance/ Management.
  • Excellent English and German skills, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge in IFRS             
  • Proficient use of MS Office, expert knowledge in Excel, while the experience of using SAP-ERP and Business Intelligence tools (QV, PowerBI) would be a big plus

  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external business partners
  • Knowledge of Swiss law & general practices in terms of finance
