Position Overview

In order to further strengthen our Sales team we are currently seeking an:


Sales Operations Specialist  

(Budapest, Hungary)


Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will:

  • help increase the performance of the sales teams through the implementation of sales processes and business intelligence (data collection, analysis, systems and target setting)
  • guide the commercial organisation through the digital transformation

The candidate is also expected to:

  • always have the drive to make a change and know what it takes to get everyone on board
  • never lose the customer journey and experience out of sight
  • apply a good balance between execution and guidance to move along in the digital space.

Organizational relationship:

  • Reporting line to Sales Manager
  • Close working relationship with the HQ teams and the country business development teams (sales, marketing, Technical support, R&D, customer service)
  • Partnership with digital colleagues in other countries on project basis
  • Active participation in Continuous Improvement projects


Key Accountabilities

  • Work on Customer mapping:
    • Work on the customer mapping projects
    • Own the customer database and keeps it up to date
    • Gather selling out data and integrate them within our database
    • Initiate and implement quantitative and qualitative customer segmentation
  • Work on sales processes with digitalization (for example CRM):
    • Full understanding of Puratos Sales processes, being able to adapt them to the country reality and implement them in collaboration with Sales management
    • Drive, adapt, implement, test international and country specific initiatives and projects
    • Manage Tool administration
    • Ensure integration of and with tools and systems
    • Training
  • Lead for (Sales) Business Intelligence
    • Be the key user of our BI tools within the sales team
    • Work with KPI’s, dashboards and reports 
    • Supports sales management in monitoring and optimizing the business
  • Digital support from the sales side:
    • Help the organisation to adopt tools in the digital space and be the ambassador for digital adoption
    • Training and change management of digital tools to enable adoption and usage by the business development teams
    • Stay up to date with all (digital) evolutions
  • Facilitate Collaboration:
    • Work with sales and marketing to advise and assist in targeting and campaign execution
    • Collaborate, develop and share best practices with HQ



  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2  to 4 years of experience in a similar role 
  • Very strong analytical skills and a passion for numbers
  • Passion for digital in a fast-changing world with at least some affinity with the technical aspects
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong drive to make things happen
  • A passion for customers and business in general
  • Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
  • Experience with SAP, sales processes, digital tools and data management is an asset
  • Feels at ease with tools and systems, but also understands the processes behind
  • Is familiar with CRM systems, marketing related tools (e.g. marketing automation)
