Position Overview

Salary: From £55,000.00 per year


In order to further strengthen our Finance team in Buckingham we are currently looking for a:

Finance Controller

(Buckingham, UK)


We are looking to employ an experienced Finance Controller to ensure financial and tax compliance, reporting accuracy and efficiencies, and financial management of UK operations whilst providing key business insights to the wider business.


Key Accountabilities

  • Monthly management accounts produced accurately and according to requirement deadlines
  • Preparation of annual budgets and cost management with department leads
  • Lead internal audit process and policy management
  • Analyse, report and control business expenditure
  • Full balance sheet reconciliation and analysis
  • Manage the Internal control environment to ensure adoption of best practice and risk minimisation
  • Ensure compliance to legal and tax requirements
  • Maintain, monitor and continually improve vendor environment and VIM process
  • Manage working capital analysis and reporting
  • Partner with operations, supply chain and commercial teams to provide business insights and support wider business needs.
  • Lead GSS quality and operational performance
  • Cover the Finance Director and finance colleagues in periods of absence.
  • Be the UK lead of external shared service provider relationships, setting best in practice standards.


Required Competencies

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial/business planning, financial accounting department.
  • ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Experience of Operations reporting
  • Good communication and management skills
  • A good knowledge of Excel, SAP and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like PowerBI is advantageous
  • A analytical, hands-on, initiative taking, result driven personality
