II .- MISSION

MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) is the collection of systems for managing end-to-end manufacturing processes in order to optimize the overall efficiency.

The main mission of the MOM Support Coordinator consists of monitoring and maintaining the efficiency of the Puratos MOM (MES, OEE, Historian), instances across all regions and the follow up and resolving of support cases logged via the Puratos support portal.

You will build up an in-depth knowledge of the Puratos environment becoming a subject matter expert.

III.- KEY TASKS

How you will contribute:

• Coordinate global support and change management for infrastructure and application related to the global MOM environment
• Ensure reaching of SLA in close collaboration with the outsourcing partner
• Establishing the root causes of application errors and escalating serious concerns to the MES vendor
• Be responsible for lifecycle management of infrastructure, OS and database and associated and specialized equipment (scales, palletizers, inline printers, cabling, etc.)
• Take part and/or coordinate changes to global developments such as interfaces with other systems (ERP, BizTalk, …) or specific custom functions
• Have a leading role in the Change Advisory Board
• Design, document and perform technical tasks such as monitoring, archiving , antivirus management, user management, backup management...
• Lead technical review meetings with the different sites
• Train key-users and provide/manage key-user functional documentation (processes, how-to documentation, …) through the Key User forum.
• Communication with stakeholders (internal, customer, partners) to achieve optimal cooperation

IV.-  POSITION REQUIREMENTS

What you bring to Puratos:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or engineering, or similar
• 3 to 5 years IT experience
• Proficient in Windows Server operating system and VMware
• Experience with Database such as MSSQL
• Experience with MES software (Siemens SIMATIC IT)
• Experience with remote systems management (Royal TS) and systems monitoring tools (PRTG)
• Solid team player, able to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English is a must - additional language knowledge is a good asset
• Ability to work within a cross-functional and globally dispersed team setting
• Able to work interdependent with little to no direction/guidance
• Work structurally, systematically, proactively and result-oriented
