Monthly pay : 2950.61 € (non-contractual compensation set by decree and order, which amount may vary in particular depending on changes in the reference scale, the location of the assignment and the cases of reductions provided for by the texts)

POSITION AND MISSION

 

• Support the development of enzyme production strains through genetic engineering

• Contribute to analytical activities and collaborate with cross-functional research teams to drive innovation in microbial biotechnology

 

 

 

 The ideal profile

 

  • Genetic Engineering & Strain Development

o Assist in executing genetic strategies for enzyme expression in microbial hosts

o Transform selected microbial strains and evaluate transformants

 

  • Analytical Techniques & Data Processing

o Perform molecular biology techniques as cloning, PCR, sequencing prep

o Conduct biochemical assays: protein gels, Western blots, enzymatic activity measurements

o Contribute to microbiological evaluations: phenotype/morphotype characterization, robotic colony picking, etc.

 

  • Microbial Cultivation

o Evaluate wild-type and engineered strains in solid and liquid media to assess enzyme expression levels

 

  • Collaborate Across Teams

o Provide analytical support to cross-functional teams (discovery, fermentation, downstream)

o Contribute to the success of new R&D projects through hands-on lab work

 

  • Departmental Contributions

o Take part in shared lab responsibilities: ordering, equipment maintenance, and 5S implementation

o Help maintain a clean, organized, and innovation-friendly lab environment
