Your Mission

Quality Officer is responsible for ensuring that PPI products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes throughout the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products. Understands the importance of cleanliness and orderliness of personnel, facility, and work flow in food manufacturing.
What you will do

QC Laboratory Operations (Primary Responsibility):
•    Perform testing, evaluation, and release of Raw Materials (RM), Packaging Materials (PM), and Finished Goods (FG) in accordance with approved specifications and procedures.
•    Conduct production line clearances to ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements prior to and during production.
•    Perform returns processing, evaluation, and disposition, including documentation of findings and recommended actions.
•    Conduct bake applications and product validations as required to support quality verification and technical assessments.
•    Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), proper handling of samples, and accurate recording of laboratory test results.
Food Safety and Quality Management System (FSSC 22000):
•    Monitor and coordinate Change Management activities, ensuring timely completion, approval, communication, and effective implementation of changes.
•    Manage  Document  Control and Document  Management,  including  customer-documented requests, controlled distribution, and records maintenance.
•    Support and execute traceability exercises, mock recalls, and related documentation in compliance with FSSC and regulatory requirements.
•    Coordinate    HALAL    compliance    activities,    including    monitoring    of    requirements, documentation, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Audits and Compliance:
•    Participate in and support internal audits, external audits, and certification audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and completion of audit cycles.
•    Ensure compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, including FSSC, HACCP, GMP, and applicable local regulations.
Supplier and Material Quality Management:
 


•    Support supplier evaluation, monitoring, and audits to ensure compliance with quality and food safety requirements.
•    Coordinate with Procurement and suppliers regarding quality-related concerns for RM and PM.
Customer Complaint and Non-Conformance Management:
•    Assist in investigating customer complaints, non-conformances, and deviations related to product quality or food safety.
•    Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
Training and Continuous Improvement:
•    Provide or support training for production and relevant personnel on quality and food safety, and laboratory requirements.
•    Identify opportunities for process improvements in QC laboratory operations and quality systems.
Flexibility and Support Functions:
•    Perform other quality- and food safety–related duties as required to support operational needs, special projects, or FSQMS improvements.


What we expect from you
•    Education
o    Preferred - bachelor’s degree in science related course (Chemistry, Chemical Technology), license required.
•    Work experience
o    Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in food manufacturing.
o    In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality management systems (e.g., FSSC, HACCP, GMP).
o    Experience with quality control techniques, sensory evaluation, and laboratory testing methods.
o    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
o    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
o    Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
