Forklift Driver

Your Mission
Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, the successful candidate will work in our service yard and dispatch, receiving products from stores, distributing raw materials and finished products within the business. The role involves driving industrial forklifts equipped with lifting devices such as elevating platforms, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products, equipment, or materials.
What you will do
- Work in a team in the warehouse and outside in the service yard, moving equipment, raw materials and finished products to and from the production lines and out for delivery.
- Ensure that the accompanying paperwork is checked and completed and entries on our inventory management software are completed accurately.
- Carry out inventory management procedures including daily and weekly stock checks and following stock rotation procedures.
- Keep the warehouse and service yard clean and tidy.
- Follow food safety and health and safety requirements.
- Any ad hoc duties required by supervisor or manager.
What we expect from you
- Current counterbalance forklift truck license.
- A good work ethic with excellent time keeping.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Effective written and verbal communication and basic mathematics.
- Attention to detail & a commitment to quality.
- Flexibility and multi-tasking.

- Rate of pay: £12.11 per hour.
- Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
