Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A Commercial Finance
Your Mission
As a member of Mississauga finance team, you will Identify opportunities for improvement or simplification of financial processes to support business initiatives, drive efficiencies and increase profitability. Key leader in pricing and other KPI’s and analysis to support the business.
What you will do
- Lead the coordination of pricing working closely with Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, and R&D stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Purchasing and R&D to drive revenue initiatives.
- Provide support for ad-hoc pricing/rebates related projects and analysis as requested by the Sales, Marketing and R&D teams.
- Identify and execute price savings targets and price increases in pricing process.
- Perform margin analysis, assess risk, and identify key actions to support business initiatives of profitable growth.
- Providing key analysis to management team to assist in profitable decision making.
- Continually evaluate and challenge financial processes and reporting practices; implement changes as needed.
- Ad-hoc variance analysis to support the organization in making strategic decisions.
- Enhance pricing tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to improve visibility and decision-making.
- Provide special project analysis as requested.
What we expect from you
- A minimum of 2+ years of practical experience in pricing, finance and risk management
- University degree in a related field
- CPA designation of working towards CPA preferred
- Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Extensive user of Power BI, Excel & Systems Guru – proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- SAP experience preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
- Capable to organize, plan and execute tasks reliably and independently, without close supervision
- Exposure to a mid-size company in a manufacturing environment will be beneficial
