Key Accountabilities:

• Visually inspect work daily and correct deficiencies in a timely manner.

• Properly mixes cleaning chemical and compounds, as well as insecticides if applicable.

• Properly operates tools, including high pressure hoses for various cleaning processes.

• Keep all areas clean and organized while also maintaining the inspections inside and outside building parameters.

• Train new hires to the department expectations, standards, and processes while keeping a focus on company culture.

• Demonstrates understanding and use of cleaning chemicals, aspects which include safety, measurements, and applications of the chemical with the ability to use and train Sanitors.

• Uphold All Quality standards.

• Responsible for establishing priorities and work independently without direct supervision.

• Understand and follow BRC guidelines.

• Understand and follow Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)and Good Manufacturing Practices. (GMP)

• Participate in weekly Food Safety Inspections as outlined by QA management.

• Schedule and perform Master Sanitation duties, update schedule when needed and ensure all work is prioritized following set frequencies.

• Follow all Safety and Food Safety rules, policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Flexibility in work hours to include potential overtime may be required at times, based on work demand.

• Knowledge of all aspects of the Sanitation operation.

• Ability to monitor work performance of the Sanitors.

• Complete and provide assigned reports to Sanitation Manager.
• In Manager’s absence, respond to emergencies accordingly per procedures.
• Perform pest control duties utilizing monitoring inspections.
