Position Overview
Maintenance Parts Inventory Specialist & Support Technician responsibilities include organizing and management of the maintenance parts inventory, receiving and stocking parts into inventory. Responsible for inventory accuracy, reducing stock errors and supporting the standardization and organization of part. Preventative maintenance on facility, packaging, and process equipment, utilizing standard work practices to ensure production is completed in a safe and efficient manner. As a Pennant team member, the candidate will execute work orders and tasks as assigned, ensure safety and food safety is a condition, drive manufacturing operational improvements. Furthermore, the candidate must embrace and support the building operations. Position will consist of 75% of time spent on Parts Inventory Management and 25% of time supporting PMs.

• Versed in lock-out/tag-out procedures and possess a strong safety orientation mindset with demonstrated performance.
• Familiarity with how common components function (Motors, bearings, pumps, valves, Belts)

2-4 Years Preferred Manufacturing, facility, or industrial experience preferred, preferably in food manufacturing environment.
Prior Knowledge/Experience

• Foundational understanding is important to accurately identify parts, understand their purpose and effectively support maintenance operations
Work Environment
• Overtime hours may be required based on work demand. Must be flexible with these hours.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move objects over 50 pounds.
• Must own and provide his/her own tools.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee at times can be exposed to flour/sugar dust particles. The dust levels in the work environment can sometimes be elevated. If needed, proper PPE is provided.
• Noise levels in some plant locations are loud.
• The employee may be expected to work outside on building grounds including elevated areas. (Building Rooftops)
• Inspection and project work may require working in elevated conditions and working on ladders.
• GMPs require hair nets and beard nets to be worn on production areas.
• Uniforms and safety shoes will be provided along with any other specific required PPE.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, stoop, walk and lift throughout the shift.
Compensation
• Hourly compensation for this position is based on skills and experience, ranging from $24.00 to $30.00
