Regional Costco Key Account Executive

Your Mission
The mission of the International Sales Executive is to support the Global Account Manager and the local country teams in reaching Costco's defined objectives at the global level. The role requires relationship building at all levels, leadership, people management, strategic planning, market competitiveness, pricing, and resource management to ensure the Puratos Costco 30-plus-year relationship continues to grow.
What you will do
- Customer Intelligence
- Build the customer profile, keep it up current and communicated to the local KAM’s.
- Set up international price comparisons for key products and update yearly.
- Exchange all relevant information between countries on a permanent basis.
- Manage the Costco Team Account Portal and keep it up to date with global Costco information.
- Relationships with Costco
- Build relationships with the local Costco teams in the assigned countries.
- Build relationships with the Costco International team based in the USA.
- Build a relationship with Costco’s country leadership.
- Build Customer Intimacy to understand Costco’s needs, expectations, and values.
- Strategic Planning
- Support the Global Account Manager in the organizing of a yearly Account Review, at which the local Account Managers are physically present to review the Local Key Account plans and develop the Global Account Plan.
- Project Management & Business Development
- Follow up on the implementation of the local Account Plans (global) for the key projects by organizing quarterly project reviews with all local Key Account Managers.
- Organize a central customer project list and keep it up to date.
- Exchange Best Practices.
- Give direct support to countries for significant projects and business development when appropriate.
- Organize international innovation days/meetings.
- Business Management
- Monitor sales, profitability, and other KPIs (service level, quality, …) and ensure that corrective actions are defined in case of deviations from objectives.
- Recap sales and key initiatives for internal distribution monthly.
- Set up global P&L + customer dashboard.
- Knowledge of applicable software programs to communicate via email and develop activity memos, reports, and spreadsheets.
- Country support
- Be the first point of contact for the Puratos teams in Asia Pacific markets.
- Travel is expected to be up to 40% of the time.
Requirements:
- Education: bachelor degree or above
- Experience: min 5 years of relevant experience
- Language: Fluent Mandarin and English
