To strengthen our team in Research & Development we are looking for:

R&D Patisserie Specialist

(Budapest, Hungary)

Your Mission

Reporting to the R&D Manager, you will be responsible for the development of the patisserie mix business through new product development and general R&D support to the customers and sales team in Hungary.

What you will do

Product R&D

• New product development (formulation), process optimization and documentation
• Support the development of local sales by means of tailor-made products and product adaptation
• Follow-up the technological developments & innovations of HQ and the region, and transfer them into local market
• Perform benchmark analysis of competitor products and optimize the product range
• Ensure that all technical data linked to products (data sheet, declaration, formulas) are always accurate; ensure confidentiality on formulas and know-how.
• Implement the BU Patisserie Mixes strategy, together with the R&D manager, local marketing and in close collaboration with the Product Manager from HQ
• Work together with Purchase and Quality department to develop new suppliers.
  
  

Operational R&D

• Provide comprehensive technical support on ingredients sourcing/supply, process optimization, and quality systems for the production facility 
• Promote and implement the values and procedures of the Puratos Group in all what is related to Quality assurance, Quality Control, GMP, and quality standards and programs
  
  

Technical customer service

• Work together with marketing and Key Accounts Sales Managers to initiate and follow up projects and provide technical support
• Support the development of industrial sales 
  
  

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in food technology
• 1 to 3 years of experience in product development (patisserie industry is an extra)
• Dynamic personality with analytical skills and hands-on attitude
• Fluent English and Hungarian (written and spoken)
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Team player
• Willing to travel within Hungary and occasionally abroad up to 30% of the time
