The Customer Marketing internship with Puratos will support customer marketing activities and plans to drive new business development and lead generation. When you are a Puratos Intern, you will be a contributing member of a dynamic and collaborative team, and gain hands on experience with Marketing Communications, Customer Marketing, Product Management, and Consumer Insights. Come join the magic and help move the planet forward!

This is a paid full-time, 40 hour per week internship. This position will be located in our Pennsauken, NJ Headquarters.

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluating market data, competitive benchmarking, customer feedback and qualitative sources to identify/size category opportunities, uncover trends and develop strategies to achieve business objectives
• Analyzing chocolate, patisserie and bakery ingredients and finished goods to determine opportunities and map by channel, region and customer
• Engaging cross-functional team to collect information, validate findings, capture insights and drive alignment with key stakeholders across a matrixed organization
• Synthesizing complex information into easily digestible action plans
• Potential to facilitate marketing strategies through next phase by supporting business development initiatives, initiating product development, developing promotional materials and targeting tools, drafting internal communications or marketing collateral and supporting marketing campaigns

Requirements:

• University Degree (or working towards one) with an excellent academic track record in a Marketing, Consulting, or Business area of study
• Previous work or Internship experience is a plus, preferably in the Food, CPG or similar industry
• An understanding of marketing basics to drive business goals
• Drive for collaboration, flexibility and achievement orientation
• Engagement and passion for the Food industry
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office suite
