The Warehouse Supervisor ensures daily cleanliness within the plant and submits monthly schedules and logs. This role maintains effective inbound and outbound schedules for receiving and deliveries, adheres to company policies, and manages inventory cycle counts to prevent loss. Supporting tasks include addressing driver concerns, processing payroll, coordinating training, and performing other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities

Validate cleanliness within the plant daily, including cooler, freezer, and storage areas

Submit master cleaning schedule and building inspection log monthly

Maintain inbound schedule; adhere to safety, quality, and food defense policies

Validate available capacity for inbound daily
-
Ensure inbound POs are received and in unrestricted use within 24 hours of delivery

Validate inbound SOPs are accurately executed by the receiving department
-
Maintain and update general storage location of materials within 48 hours
-
Maintain effective outbound schedule for external freight accounts and truck deliveries
-
Run VL10 to pick up all orders by delivery date, including Stock Transfer Orders for the plant (5010)

Review product availability, release and create deliveries maintaining maximum fill rates. SAP CO06

Support planning and scheduling of outbound routes based on FTL shipments, utilizing proper SAP route codes including backup to route planner

Create SIDs in SAP VT01N as needed, for own truck deliveries.
- Batch print pick tickets for own truck deliveries
- Comply with customers compliance requirements (COAs, BOLs, Seals, Safety requirements and PPE) and ensure material, batch, MFG and BBD data is accurate
- Maintain inventory cycle counts and ensure first expiration first out (FEFO)
- Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly cycle counts; validate accurate stock rotation
- Ensure adjustments are approved by warehouse operations manager
- Re-warehouse as needed (i.e., seasonal items for picking optimization)
- Analyze and identify performance related issues; ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent inventory loss
Supporting Responsibilities
- Address driver concerns
- Process and submit payroll in a timely manner
- Coordinate and schedule training for all new hires and direct reports as needed
- Any other task assigned by Operations Manager
Prior Knowledge/Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred

Previous experience in warehouse operations, at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role; 5-7 years distribution and transportation supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software; 1 year of SAP experience preferred

Proficient in excel, word, and TMS database software

Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations

Proven ability to lead and manage a team of warehouse staff

Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with employees, management, and external stakeholders.

Ability to delegate tasks, set priorities, and monitor performance

Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory discrepancies, product damage, and operational inefficiencies.

Capacity to make quick decisions and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work weekends as needed

Attendance record must be in good standing

Physical Demands: Frequently lift up to 50 lbs, occasionally lift up to 75 lbs; occasional sitting, climbing/balancing, squatting, crawling, push/pull, and gripping; frequent stooping/twisting, kneeling, reaching; constant standing, walking, visual acuity (near/far).

Environmental Conditions: Occasional exposure to uneven ground, bio hazards, hazards, and working with machinery; frequent exposure to excessive noise, extreme temperatures, and dust/fumes

Compensation for this role is salaried and will be based on your experience, skills, and location, with a typical range between $64,680 - $80,850.

This role is eligible for a targeted annual bonus equal to 5%. Final bonus payouts are determined by both individual and company performance.
