As the Digital Manufacturing Manager at Puratos Lummen, you will be at the forefront of our digital revolution, guiding and supporting the local Management Team in achieving operational excellence. Your mission will be to craft a visionary digitalization strategy, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our group, BE, and local business goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Taking full ownership, support the local management team in our journey to digitalization and operational excellence
• Develop a digitalization strategy with clear goals and action plans, aligned with group, BE, and local business strategy.
• Manage, engage and develop the team (Digitalization, Automation, Process)
• Ensure effective implementation of digital transformation, delivering enhanced business processes and measurable results.
• Develop and implement smart tools and state-of-the-art sites to improve performance and eliminate waste.
• Empower employees to become more autonomous through Teamwork and continuous improvement on the operations performance
• Foster a culture of teamwork, learning, and innovation at all organizational levels.
• IT/MES/SAP key user: act as the primary contact for production related IT-systems and propose + implement strategical improvements for IT-infrastructure
• Act as point of contact for internal & external partners for troubleshooting, IT maintenance and projects

Who are we looking for?

• You have a master degree in engineering, computer science or related domains.
• You have min 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within a production environment and/or as a production manager who is ready for the next step
• You are Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• You are an expert with common Microsoft computer applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, PowerBI.  Excellent SAP knowledge is also required
