Your Mission

As Procurement Manager, you will lead the strategic sourcing and category management of raw materials, packaging, trading goods and indirect spend for food production. You will safeguard cost competitiveness, quality and supply continuity by translating market intelligence into robust procurement strategies and supplier decisions. Combining a strategic procurement perspective with hands-on operational leadership, you will guide a small team and build strong partnerships across the business. Your work will strengthen procurement efficiency, risk management and sustainable business performance in a domestic and international environment.

What you will do

  • Procurement strategy and category ownership: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key raw-material categories, food-production packaging, trading goods and indirect spend.
  • Strategic sourcing and supplier development: Lead supplier identification, qualification and development across domestic and international markets, building long-term relationships with key partners.
  • Market intelligence and risk management: Monitor market trends and raw-material pricing, identify risks and opportunities, and secure quality, delivery and supply continuity.
  • Commercial negotiations: Lead negotiations on pricing, contractual terms, quality requirements, delivery schedules and other critical supply conditions.
  • Cost and performance improvement: Initiate and deliver savings and optimization projects, supporting material-cost management and greater supply-chain efficiency.
  • Cross-functional and international collaboration: Partner closely with Production, Planning, Quality, R&D, Logistics and Finance, and cooperate effectively with regional and global structures.
  • Team leadership, governance and insight: Set priorities and objectives for a small procurement team, support employee development, prepare analyses, recommendations and KPIs, and ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Who are we looking for?

  • Relevant strategic procurement experience: At least 6 to 8 years of experience in strategic procurement within the food industry, including bakery and/or confectionery categories.
  • Demonstrated sourcing results: A proven record of delivering sourcing projects, negotiating contracts and achieving procurement cost savings.
  • People leadership: Experience managing and developing a procurement team, with the ability to set clear priorities and combine strategic direction with practical business support.
  • Procurement expertise: Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, category management and supplier relationship management, supported by excellent negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Analytical and improvement mindset: Strong capability to work with data, generate business insights and turn cost-optimization opportunities into implemented improvements.
  • Education and digital tools: A Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field, plus proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; ERP experience is required and SAP is a strong advantage.
  • International communication: Fluent English for business communication and international negotiations, together with a proactive, results-oriented approach and the ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels.
