Distribution Manager

(Kostrzyn - Poznan)

 

 

Your Mission

 

The mission of the Distribution Manager is to develop and promote the sales of the dedicated distributors to meet the National Sales Budget. Key objective is to ensure budget achievement and continuous KDI performance improvement. Lead, collaborate with sales teams of distributors to achieve their individual and common targets. He/she will inform the Management Team on the results and market conditions of his/her area.

 

What you will do

 

Sales team

  • Continuously support and coach the sales representatives in the field ( Distributor) including Sales Promotion Teams. Conduct reviews with the sales representative, and give the coaching report to Regional Sales Manager or Sales Manager immediately.
  • Train/Coach the sales team whenever development needs appear.
  • Perform sales skills review and build development programs for sales team based on results to ensure continuous development of the team.
  • Review of activities & achievement of objectives and define objectives on a weekly basis.
  • Quarterly business review meeting with distributor to address Sales Performance by SKU, Salesman effectiveness, Area challenges/opportunities, # customers and their loyalty.
  • Distributor Scorecard implementation, definition of the next strategy and action plan, combined with improvements needed to achieve together the upcoming quarterly results.

 

Prioritization & target setting

  • Coordinate selling activities with his/her clients: prospecting, demonstrations, seminars, idea promotions, idea creation on applications for our products in collaboration with Marketing and the Technical Team.
  • Prepare and structure promotions to Distributors and Customers in order to achieve area sales targets.
  • Review sales and KDI performance with Sales Team every month at Monthly Sales meeting for the Distributor Team:
  • Approve and help prepare planning of Distributors
  • Conduct one to one meetings
  • Review the daily sales report  (daily-weekly).
  • Make sure customers pay on time.
  • Make monthly Confirmed Monthly Orders (CMO) and Rolling Forecast 3 months ahead.
  • Ensure customer activities are captured in CRM/SFA
  • Plan and execute Sales Strategy tailored to each customer category/segment with the aim to drive sales of our priority and focus products.
  • Co-ordinate new product development, product renovation and launches (internal & external) and follow up.
  • Apply and understand pricing strategies
  • Assist in developing an Annual Business Plan / Budget from Market Assessment in order to accelerate the growth of the Company.

 

Process & digitalization to increase success & productivity

  • Sales Process execution & monitoring
  • CRM execution & monitoring
  • Sales Dashboard using & follow up
  • Send monthly reports to regional Sales Manager or National Sales Manager summarizing all the above information gathered from above documents, analyze it and build clear actions to ensure business growth.
  • Visualize key successes, problems identified, improvements needed
  • Build a battle plan for the coming week
  • Set targets objectives for the coming week
  • Show discipline in executing company strategy (ex: Innovation days, Specific incentive programs for specific key customers, etc.).

 

Customer & competition environment

  • Manage a selection of key customers and prospects directly.
  • Provide the company with market trend information, competitor activities and product development ideas or product innovations.
  • Gather market information’s: market trends, competitor activity, requirements for the development of new and existing products.

 

 

Smooth collaboration with all departments / stakeholders

  • Coordinate with Marketing, Technical Team, Product Development and Customers Sales Support in order to achieve area goals
