Accounts Payable Staff

 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts payable process, ensuring timely vendor payments, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Manage Accounts Payable processes, including document verification, invoice recording, and vendor payments.
  • Prepare payment schedules and support cash flow forecasting activities.
  • Monitor AP Aging reports and ensure timely settlement of company obligations.
  • Perform reconciliations of vendor accounts, trade payables, intercompany transactions, and bank accounts.
  • Coordinate with the Tax team to ensure appropriate tax treatment of vendor transactions.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and supporting data related to accounts payable, payments, and cash flow.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities through timely account reconciliations.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial transactions and payment records.
  • Prepare supporting data and documents for internal and external audit requirements.

 

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Accounts Payable.
  • Good understanding of Accounts Payable processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Familiar with SAP and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
