Human Resources Manager
Your Mission
As a member of both the Canadian People & Culture team and the Fraser Valley Management team, you will contribute to the strategic business plans of both teams, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment with organizational and people strategies.
This position is also responsible for overseeing the Talent Acquisition processes across Canada from design to recruitment for all salaried positions.
What you will do
- Strategy: contribute to the operations/business strategy for the production site by helping to identify, prioritize, and build organizational capabilities, people, behaviours, structures, and processes, in line with Puratos Values & Magic.
- Change Management: support the Site in the transformation & change process.
- Drive the people & HR processes workforce planning, recruiting, induction & onboarding, performance management, training/competency development, talent review and succession planning, reward/recognition to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future requirements and that headcount needs and productivity targets are met.
- Engagement: together with the management teams, develop and assist in the implementation and the evaluation of the effectiveness of the engagement plan.
- Employee / Labour relations: manage all employee relationships for the site and ensure compliance with law & collective agreements.
- Talent and Leadership development: ensure that the leadership, coaching and feedback culture is properly cascaded through the organization; ensure that talent review actions are implemented.
- Consulting: provide expert advice and coaching to managers & employees where appropriate.
- Continuous improvement: influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes, integrating employee and line Management feedback towards a better employee experience.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead and manage talent acquisition of salaried roles across Canada including recruitment, interviewing, defining the onboarding strategy, employer branding, positive candidate experience and key performance indicator reporting.
What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field.
- Professional Designation in Human Resources
- 3-5 years of proven leadership experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (verbal/written).
- Experience in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.
- Capable to organize, plan and execute tasks reliably and independently.
- Able to think logically around issues & tasks and resolve conflicts.
- Ability to facilitate changes by influencing others through analytical approach.
- Proficient in MS Office
