Senior Regional Domain Specialist Production and Planning

(China - Guangzhou)

Your Mission

The main mission consists of rolling-out applications for Production and Planning in the various local Puratos companies around the world especially for SAP S/4. The Senior Domain Specialist will also identify, promote and coach improvement projects to improve the performance of the entire Puratos Group.

What you will do

The Senior Domain Specialist will be an expert in his/her functional domain. Within his/her area of responsibilities, the Domain Specialist will keep the Application Manager and whenever needed the Group Enterprise Processes Manager informed about his/her activities.

The key tasks are split in four major areas

1.Roll-out of HQ chosen applications in Puratos subsidiaries

• Analyze existing processes of the company
• Build a partnership with the local management team to handle the organizational impact resulting from the implementation
• Propose and facilitate organizational changes if appropriate and needed
• Act as template keeper during projects: protect and enforce the template and contribute to template development based on gained experience in roll out projects
• Help key users migrate the old data to the new system
• Ensure common rules and data are respected, meaning template processes are followed
• SPOC for the Key Users during the projects; gathering feedback and providing innovative insights. Initiating development proposals, and new solutions to gaps
• Implement the application localizations applicable in the region/country
• Transfer to the Key users the necessary knowledge to use the application in a correct manner
• Help the Key users to test the system and to realize system acceptance
• Assist the Key users with writing the necessary documentation
• Implement the necessary reporting during each project based on the available data sets
• Implement and monitor the authorizations in the system so that sensitive and critical data/processes are protected
• Coach more junior Domain Specialist
• Keep the Project Manager(s) informed about project progress and issues
• Accomplish the transition to support after go-live of a roll-out
• Manage medium-sized to large projects
• Support the Solution Architect in functional analysis work (Proof of Concepts)

2. Support from a functional point of view the applications installed by HQ

• Perform SAP 3rd line support when needed, in collaboration with the Global Support Team
• Write functional specifications for new approved Change Requests (Workflows, Reports, Fiori Apps, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements and Forms – WRICEFs), in collaboration with the Global Support Team

3. Optimize the system used in subsidiaries running the HQ chosen application and help the subsidiaries to use the application in a more efficient way

• Analyze and identify improvement & best practice areas within the organization (process, department, branch)
• Build key user communities to share best practices, to increase user adoption and to facilitate knowledge capturing and sharing with the users
• Organize post implementation reviews and training sessions
• Implement additional functionalities (optimization and retrofitting)
• Stimulate continuous improvement through benchmarking
• Responsible for the application optimization as Senior Domain Consultant

4. Implement the S/4 Hana solution for SAP PP-PI-QM

What we expect from you

• In depth knowledge in the SAP PP- PI-QM domain
• SAP S/4 Hana knowledge of the Production and Planning modules and Quality modules.
• Knowledge of integration between the different applications (MES / APO / IBP …) and application modules (i.e. SAP WM, QM) within the specific functional domain
• Several years of experience in multiple proven project life cycles
• Team spirit and team work - Initiative
• Good communication and training skills
• Flexible and stress resistant
• Broad view and spirit of synthesis
• Open mindset with emphasis on knowledge sharing
• Minimum Language skills: English written and spoken
• Willingness to travel: 10%
• 7+ years of ICT experience
