Mission
Is Plant Maintenance Management your core expertise and are you eager to enhance our Plant Maintenance across our +70 production units spread in 50 countries worldwide?
In this role you will be part of our international operational excellence team based in Belgium. The job is based in our HQ in Belgium (close to Brussels). 30% travel is foreseen.
The Global Maintenance Manager role is a key role within the Puratos organization. In this position, You will implement our Asset Care Operational Excellence Program across our industrial network and progressively develop our teams, to improve the technical reliability of the production lines and increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), reduce incidents and assures the quality of our product .
You will report to the Group Engineering Director (Matrix) & to the Group Operational Excellence Program Manager.
Key Accountabilities

Deploy our Global Plant Maintenance Strategy: You will further develop and primarily implement the global strategy

Build Plant Maintenance Capabilities in line withthe OpX Maintenance Pyramid: You will define and implement a capability-building plan with skills requirements and development paths for all levels across the organization.

Develop Equipment Specifications with Group Engineering: You will develop together with Group Engineering standard specifications and design recommendations for various equipment such as compressors, pumps, valves, packaging & filling equipment and palletizing equipment.

Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness: You will support local sites to reduce breakdown time, improve asset reliability (production lines & utilities), and reduce Total Cost of Ownership.

Evaluate & Benchmark Asset Performance: You will evaluate & benchmark together with Site Maintenance Managers the performance and utilization of assets (production, packaging lines & utilities) by implementing tools and methods, and coach and support local plants.

Stay Updated with Industry Evolutions: You will keep up to date with the latest technical and technological advancements in asset care within the food industry.
Who are we looking for ?

Bachelor / Master degree in Sciences, ideally Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent by experience

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in plant maintenance on international scale, with proven track record in implementing Operational excellence program in Asset Care Management

Knowledge of CMMS (SAP PM is a plus)

Deep knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, OEE, FMEA, TPM

Demonstrated leadership skills in managing and developing remote and virtual teams with white and blue collars within Operations arena

Ability to drive solutions to complex technical issues.

Agility, resilience and tolerance for ambiguity and change.

Fluency in English both orally and in writing is a minimum. Spanish is a plus.

You are flexible to travel up to 30% of the time (trips of some days to some weeks mainly between Belgium , Europe, US and then globally)
