Product Manager - Fruits

Your Mission 

As Global Product Manager BU Fruit, you will help drive the growth, profitability, and market relevance of the Business Unit Fruit by translating fruit expertise, market insights, and customer needs into compelling product and business opportunities. You will own and support key elements of the fruit product portfolio, from market intelligence and pricing to innovation input, portfolio simplification, and customer-facing storytelling. Acting as a bridge between R&D, sourcing, operations, sales, marketing, finance, supply chain, and local markets, you will make complex fruit technologies and sourcing approaches clear, relevant, and commercially impactful. Through your work, you will contribute to a stronger Field-to-Fork positioning, healthier fruit-based solutions, and a consistent global approach that still leaves room for local market creativity.

What you will do? 

• Manage and optimize the fruit product portfolio, supporting pricing, profitability, SKU management, benchmarking, lifecycle management, and portfolio simplification in line with the BU Fruit strategy.
• Strengthen market and consumer intelligence by monitoring customers, competitors, fruit trends, consumer expectations, and market evolutions, and translating insights into actionable business opportunities.
• Bring the Field-to-Fork approach to life by transforming sourcing expertise, grower partnerships, crop knowledge, and responsible sourcing initiatives into clear value propositions for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support customer engagement and storytelling during customer visits, seminars, fruit experiences, innovation workshops, field trips, and internal events through inspiring, business-oriented content.
• Contribute to the innovation pipeline by connecting market insights, fruit technologies, sustainability ambitions, health and wellbeing opportunities, and local market needs into short-, mid-, and long-term opportunities.
• Drive structured project execution, tracking action plans, deadlines, milestones, and follow-up to ensure that initiatives move forward efficiently across teams and countries.
• Collaborate across the global Puratos network, working closely with R&D, sourcing, operations, production sites, supply chain, finance, sales, customer service, marketing teams, and local product managers to turn fruit expertise into customer-relevant solutions.

Who are we looking for? 

• You hold a Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• You bring relevant experience in product management, marketing, portfolio management, business development, market intelligence, communication,…
• You have strong marketing intelligence skills, with the ability to understand consumer trends, competitor activity, market needs, portfolio opportunities, and pricing dynamics.
• You combine a marketing mindset with curiosity for technical product knowledge, enabling you to translate R&D-driven information into clear, customer-focused, and commercially relevant messages.
• You are a strong project manager, able to structure action plans, follow up on milestones, manage priorities, and bring clarity in a dynamic international environment.
• You communicate confidently and collaborate naturally with multicultural, cross-functional stakeholders, building trust, creating alignment, and adapting your message to different audiences.
• You are fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus.
