Your Mission
As Product Communication Manager Sourdough, you bring Puratos sourdough expertise to life through clear storytelling, high-quality content and memorable customer experiences. You own the communication approach for the Sourdough Institute and connect the unique Puratos sourdough assets and platforms into one consistent narrative. By translating business priorities, product strategies and market insights into customer-oriented communication, you strengthen visibility, engagement and growth. Working across teams and markets, you ensure that content and experiences are relevant, aligned and delivered with operational excellence.
Key Accountabilities
- Own and implement the Sourdough Institute communication and experience approach in line with the Sourdough Business Unit narrative and Group communication guidelines.
- Translate business priorities and product strategies into customer-oriented messaging including product descriptions, concept stories, presentations and market-ready content.
- Create, manage and harmonize storytelling tools and communication assets across PR, events, digital platforms, one-to-one interactions and internal channels, acting as the single point of contact for Sourdough Institute content.
- Safeguard quality and consistency across content, visuals, messaging and experience flows by collaborating with internal teams, markets and external partners, including for photoshoots and video production.
- Consolidate market intelligence and sourdough-related trends and turn insights into relevant communication themes, customer engagement ideas and recommendations supporting business development.
- Coordinate Sourdough Business Unit contributions to customer events and activations including Puratos fairs, Taste Tomorrow marketplace, Customer Innovation Days and Discovery Days.
- Manage PR and enable cross-functional deployment by identifying newsworthy topics, preparing press releases and Q&As, monitoring impact, maintaining assets on SharePoint and the brand portal, and sharing best practices with countries.
Who are we looking for?
- You have relevant higher education or equivalent professional experience in communication, marketing, journalism, business or a related field.
- You bring proven experience in communication and content management and can turn complex business or technical information into compelling, audience-focused stories.
- You combine strong writing, presentation and channel-management skills with the ability to structure ideas logically and adapt content for internal and external audiences.
- You understand broader market and customer contexts and can analyze trends, propose practical solutions and monitor whether communication meets customer expectations.
- You are an effective cross-functional collaborator and trusted networker who builds constructive, win-win relationships with markets, R&D, business teams, Group Communication and external partners.
- You take ownership of planning, priorities and quality translating objectives into feasible action plans, tracking delivery and continuously improving tools and ways of working.
- You are proficient in English and comfortable using digital communication tools; additional local languages and an affinity with food, bakery or sourdough are valuable assets.
