Pricing Manager

Your Mission

Are you ready to make a sustainable impact?

As a Pricing Manager, you will drive all pricing activities for a large portfolio of bakery and patisserie products.

Reporting to the Group Strategic Pricing Director, you will implement a value-based pricing strategy that delivers revenue and profitability growth in a mutually beneficial way for Puratos and our customers.

Your key Accountabilities

• You define and implement pricing policies for your product category across regions, countries, and plants in collaboration with Business Unit Directors.
• You collaborate with Product Managers to ensure the value of our products is reflected in pricing recommendations, including for innovations and new product launches.
• You perform detailed pricing analyses to identify gaps and propose actions to improve group profitability.
• You handle price requests systematically, update sales price lists, and manage transfer prices and contracts.
• You understand and explain cost components, including raw materials, packaging, and delivery costs.
• You maintain regular contact with customers to provide market insights and support sales teams in price negotiations.
• You organize the pricing function using tools like SAP, Power-BI, and QlikView, and coordinate tenders and RFPs.
• You actively contribute to strategic pricing projects.

What we expect from you

• You have a Master’s degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in Pricing or a relevant field, preferably in an international environment.
• You have strong analytical and data interpretation skills with the ability to make strategic recommendations.
• You are digital oriented and tech savvy, at ease with common Microsoft Office programs and reporting tools. Experience in SAP (or other ERP software) is a big plus.
• You are fluent in English. Proficiency in additional languages such as Dutch or French is an asset.
• You have experience in B2B (in the food industry is a plus), with knowledge of market trends and customer behavior.
• You have exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills, combined with a resilient and persuasive personality.
• You are a talented team player and collaborator.
• You have a passion for food and sustainability.
• You are willing to travel occasionally.
