Master Data Officer (R&D)

For our Material Master Data Center based in HQ (Groot-Bijgaarden) we are looking for a Master Data Expert. The center's mission is to act as a central unit for the design, creation, maintenance of all materials and their common data in the Puratos group.

 

Key Accountabilities

The mission of the Master Data Expert of nutrition data is to define, control and maintain the common data of all materials for Puratos Group in all systems, and to guarantee correct data in all Puratos Group reporting tools.

 

You will have close collaboration with IT-colleagues during SAP/Odoo implementation of new subsidiaries. The master data Expert has a key role in these processes :

  • for all recipe structures in all systems.
  • for designing the common data of Puratos materials.
  • for safeguarding the application of Puratos Group rules.

 

You will have a close collaboration with R&D-colleagues and local item coordinators to coach them in the working processes in SAP and PLM; to guide and to convince them to use of the most efficient and lean flows.

 

Furthermore:

 

  • You will define, control and maintain the common data of all materials for Puratos Group in all systems.
  • You will act as the contact person for local item coordinators in the subsidiaries.
  • You will ensure that group rules are applied during a SAP/Odoo implementation.
  • You are able to implement, convince and roll out new processes in the subsidiaries. You will train and guide your colleagues in other departments (R&D) in SAP/PLM.
  • You develop and run systematic controls of the newly created materials to guarantee correct data in the different Puratos Group reporting tools.
  • You audit and control the correct application of master data rules, authorization rules, recipes structures, the correct use of premixes and strategic raw materials, you correct declaration of ingredients on the product label and TDS.

 

 

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a bachelor degree with relevant SAP experience
  • You are open to work in an international team, meaning fluency in English is needed. Any extra language is a plus.
  • You are well-organized and have the ability to set priorities.
  • You have strong communication skills including decision making, problem solving, influencing and networking skills.
  • Digital savviness is a plus.
