MOM Domain Specialist (m/w/f)

Your Mission
MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) is the collection of systems for managing end-to-end manufacturing processes in order to optimize the overall efficiency. The main mission consists of implementing and coordinating projects related to Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) applications in the local Puratos companies around the world. The MOM Domain Specialist will also identify, promote and coach improvement projects to improve the efficiency and performance of the Manufacturing Operations.
What you will do
The MOM Domain Specialist will be responsible for projects in Manufacturing Operations related applications. This functional specialist combines a strong functional background with technical acumen and a passion for operational excellence. This function will play a key role in supporting our front line operations, driving process improvements, and implementing solutions that enhance performance and efficiency.
The key tasks are split in three major areas
- Implement MOM applications in Puratos subsidiaries
- Lead or actively participate in the implementation of digital applications for front line workers, ensuring user adoption and value creation.
- Analyse the as-is processes of the company
- Ensure common rules and data are respected
- Propose and develop solutions to gaps
- Manage the timely delivery of projects and coordinate the external partner responsible for the implementation and development of applications - Optimize the system used in subsidiaries running the MOM applications and help the subsidiaries to use the application in a more efficient way
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and drive opportunities for operational excellence.
- Analyse and identify improvement & best practice areas within the organization (process, department, branch)
- Organize post implementation reviews and training sessions
- Utilize analytical tools and platforms to monitor and improve process performance. - Support the MOM applications towards Puratos subsidiaries
- Support and improve core manufacturing and operational processes, focusing on OEE, safety, quality, kaizen, MES, and maintenance.
Position Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Management, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Strong functional profile with technical affinity and a proven sense for operational excellence.
• In depth functional knowledge about MES/MOM applications. Experience with integration of industrial devices.
• Solid knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), safety standards, kaizen methodologies, MES, quality assurance, and maintenance best practices are an advantage.
• Experience in implementing or supporting applications for front line workers is highly preferred.
• Hands-on technical experience with SAP, Aveva Pi, Factry, FlowFuse (NodeRed), Grafana, Power BI, and Azure DevOps are an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate operational needs into actionable technical solutions.
• Solid team player, able to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English is a must – Dutch/French is a good asset
• Ability to work within a cross-functional and globally dispersed team setting, collaborating globally
• Work structurally, systematically, proactively and result-oriented with focus on quality and internal customer satisfaction
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Willingness to travel: 20%
