Mission and key tasks
You will collaborate together with the Group Research & Services Dpt. during an exciting development project in the world of fermented foods dedicated to bakery, patisserie or chocolate.
Your mission & key tasks:
- To study the functionalities of fermented foods to create innovative food products together with our Lab Team.
- Different tasks can be part of the mission
- Classic microbial techniques
- Food fermentation processes
- Microbial population identifications
- Analytical techniques (HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS)
- Food applications
- To report and present on regular intervals during team meetings & information sessions.
Who are we looking for
- You are finishing a bachelor or master study in Food Science, Food Technology or related studies with a notice or interest in food fermentation research.
- You are dynamic, hands-on and proactive;
- You have good communication, presentation, planning and organization skills;
- You’re sincerely interested in the bakery, pastry or chocolate world;
- You are fluent in English;
- You are looking for an internship with minimum duration of 3 months , based in Brussels, Belgium.
